Pricing for each kitset includes GST and delivery to a regional KiwiSpan Consolidation Point. Local freight charges to site may apply.
Standard manufacturing lead time is 10 – 15 working days from confirmed point of order. Delivery time will be confirmed by the KiwiSpan Distributor from which the kitset is purchased.
The offer is for kitset structure components only and excludes any other construction or compliance related costs (e.g. labour, design consultation, foundation design and materials, council fees, or any ancillary services).
KiwiSpan kitsets are designed and priced as Importance Level 1 structures (i.e. unlined and non-habitable buildings).
KiwiSpan kitsets are engineered for specific design wind speed, seismic loads, and snow loads. Consult with your KiwiSpan Distributor for kitset design parameters.
PS1 and other engineering documentation is not included in the advertised Kitset prices but are available upon request for all KiwiSpan Shed Designs at additional cost.
Where foundation designs are included with Kitset drawings, they assume ‘good ground’ as defined in NZS3604. In the event of any requirement for alternative design parameters the cost of any extra design and/or foundation work will incur additional charges to the client.
The Kitset purchaser is responsible for ensuring the building and related building work is exempt from requiring building consent, and for making sure that any building work complies with the building code and other relevant legislation – Refer to MBIE Document “Building work that does not require a building consent” for full details and guidance. KiwiSpan accepts no responsibility for specific site compliance.
KiwiSpan recommends that kitsets be assembled by experienced DIYers at a minimum as some cutting and/or drilling may be required onsite. The local KiwiSpan Distributor can provide advice and installation service on application and under sperate contract.
All building plan dimensions are nominal sizes only, where exact dimensions are crucial to your project discuss with your KiwiSpan team for clarification.
