On Wednesday, 25th September, KiwiSpan hosted its highly anticipated 2024 Annual Awards Night at The Heke. This special event brought together the entire KiwiSpan network to celebrate the achievements of our dedicated teams, and the excellence displayed across our business. The awards night is not just a recognition of success; it’s a moment to celebrate the hard work, innovative thinking, and outstanding service that make KiwiSpan a leader in the steel shed industry. 

Here are the remarkable winners of the evening: 

Licensee of the Year 2024 – Wairarapa 

Rowan, Tonya and the team from Wairarapa have consistently demonstrated exceptional performance throughout the year. Their ability to go above and beyond for their clients, coupled with strong business growth and marketing expertise, earned them the coveted title of Licensee of the Year. Their unwavering dedication and consistent delivery of quality projects set them apart in 2024. 

Licensee of the Year Runner Up 2024 – Rotorua 

Rotorua’s team was a close contender, showcasing extraordinary commitment to delivering high-quality projects and an unmatched customer experience. Led by Phil and Jacquie Clark, their strong performance and business acumen have earned them well-deserved recognition as runner-up. 

Business Excellence 2024 – Tauranga 

Darryn and Jill Astill from KiwiSpan Tauranga have shown a relentless focus on operational excellence, efficiency, and innovation. Their consistent efforts to refine their processes and drive outstanding results make them an exemplar of business excellence in the KiwiSpan network. 

Business Excellence Runner Up 2024 – Counties 

KiwiSpan Counties demonstrated remarkable attention to detail in every aspect of their business, from project management to customer service. With Andrew and Inger Craven at the helm, their commitment to maintaining high standards has earned them the runner-up position in this category. 

Regional Marketing Excellence 2024 – Rotorua 

KiwiSpan Rotorua’s marketing efforts stood out for their creativity and ability to engage with the local community through social media and local sponsorship. Their innovative marketing strategies drove significant brand awareness, helping to establish a strong presence in their region. 

Regional Marketing Excellence Runner Up 2024 – Wairarapa

Supplier of the Year 2024 – Modern Building Product

Networks Choice 2024 – Jill & Darryn Astill 

Jill and Darryn from KiwiSpan Tauranga have earned the respect and admiration of the KiwiSpan network. Known for their willingness to lend a hand and their incredible dedication, they have been recognised for their positive impact on the network. 

People’s Choice 2024 – Wellington 

Led by James Marsh, the Wellington team has been a shining example of how excellent customer service can elevate a business. Their attention to client needs and ability to consistently exceed expectations have garnered rave reviews from customers, securing them the People’s Choice award. 

Lifestyle Project of the Year 2024 – Otago 

The Otago team delivered a stunning lifestyle project that exemplifies the high standards KiwiSpan is known for. Dan and Megan Raynor’s ability to create a bespoke, functional, and aesthetically pleasing solution for their client made this project a standout. 

Commercial Project of the Year 2024 – Coromandel 

Coromandel took home the Commercial Project of the Year award for their work on new premises for Hunting & Fishing that required precision, expertise, and collaboration. John Carswell and the team’s dedication to delivering a high-quality commercial space on time and within budget was truly commendable.
